She studied photography at Folkwang University in Essen, Germany. Since 1994 Sabine Bungert has been working for various newspapers and magazines next to her freelance art projects. Sabine Bungert’s field of activity comprises travel, editorial, architecture and potrait photography. She is member of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Photographie e.V. (DGPh). 

Since 2010 Sabine Bungert and Stefan Dolfen are working on long term projects together. They are interes­ted in the development of societies due to social changes. Since 1989 Stefan Dolfen has been working as a designer and photographer next to his freelance art projects. Their work has been featured in several exhibitions.
